I have plans with Kali as well for Valdis to help him with figuring out his cruxis crystal's level of intelligence, because it was an interaction with her which first put the idea in his head; so that should happen first in any case. I don't think he'd bring it up with anyone else unless Leo came to him about it first, though, so at least Leo has an advantage there.
