Thancred looks odd, and also like everything got sort of rearranged and put back together wrong with bits missing thanks to the whole 2.55 etc. incident.
Kuja is SO THOROUGHLY NOT HUMAN. (of course he's also got feathers, a tail even if it is hidden half the time, and purple eyes with slit pupils normally, but who's counting?) There's a lot of power there, the whole thing looks a little artificial, and he's got a LOT of oomph for a wide range of magic.
